Oil and Gas Support Facilities
Lane Power & Energy Solutions (LPES) is actively studying the feasibility of storing natural gas liquid (NGL) in hard rock and salt caverns in the Marcellus and Utica shale regions. We offer oil and gas clients a full suite of services including design-build, remediation, structural concrete, roadway and bridge reconstruction, and paving.
LPES provides a variety of design and construction services for surface systems for storage facilities. The scope of surface facilities design and construction frequently includes the equipment and systems needed to move stored fluid to and from the storage site. Among these are cross-country pipelines for brine, water, gas, or oil; compressor stations and pipeline pump; and on-site systems to receive, withdraw, inject, and deliver stored fluids.
The leach plant is a main element in constructing a solution-mined storage facility. Its features include: fresh water source pumps and piping; brine collection, storage and treatment system; and instrumentation, control and measurement systems.
